Anne Morrissey founder of THE INTERNATIONAL MAKE-UP ACADEMY, ever mindful of the many obstacles and the total lack of information that she endured when seeking to embark on her own career, includes career guidance on all THE INTERNATIONAL MAKE-UP ACADEMY courses plus pays particular attention to portfolio building, where the students will work with a professional Photographer, Model, Hairstylist to get a totally professional photo.
Anne continues to teach, whilst also having an equally skilled and passionate team of the Best Make-up Artists to inspire and educate their students.
Anne and her team also continue to work on Photo shoots, Editorial, TV etc. so are on trend and in touch with what the working industry requires. So much of our work is recommendation and that is the best compliment ever.
Anne’s mantra to be a successful Make-up Artist is “Passion, Skills and Focus”. Setting out a clear action plan will always get results. Make-up Artist etiquette is as important as your Make-up skills.
Anne has been in the Make-up business for over fifteen years and has the same passion and excitement about the industry as when she first started out in London all those years ago!
