Airbase is against cruelty to animals

Vegan and Cruelty Free

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of human safety while eliminating the need for testing on animals.

Between 2007 and 2011 the EU spent €238 million on funding non-animal replacement tests in a quest to find alternative methods. Animal testing for cosmetic purposes was banned in its entirety under EU law in 2013.

Airbase does not test our cosmetic products on animals and considers our cosmetics to be "cruelty free". The term cruelty free implies that none of the ingredients incorporated into products has ever been tested on animals. We need our customers to be aware that it is nearly impossible for any cosmetic company to certify that all new and existing ingredients incorporated into products have never been tested on animals as part of the safety research and certification process throughout its life cycle. We can however assure you that we select reputable laboratories to develop our cosmetics that align with our principles on cruelty to animals.

We require our raw material suppliers to provide safety information based on scientifically accepted alternative testing methods whilst selecting high-quality raw materials with well-established safety records from an extensive ingredient database.

Airbase is also invested in providing the best vegan makeup options across all our product categories. A full and complete list of all ingredients are listed on each product listing. Please be aware that our lip gloss and mascara do contain beeswax.
