Monster Makeover Winner Dani Hollie – How to Get the Look

Step 1: 

Prepare the skin for the perfect base with Airbase Primer. I separated the face using a white kohl pencil.

Step 2: 

Apply skin tone matched Airbase foundation to the 'normal' side of the face, set with a HD powder and continue to create ‘straight’ makeup - fuller brows, smoky eye, blusher and lipstick.

Step 3:

Apply Airbase Foundation 00 (Porcelain) to the creative side of the face. Set with a colourless HD powder and begin to outline the design using the white kohl pencil.

Step 4: 

Using a black gel liner, create a thick line around the eye and through the brow. Smudge slightly inwards towards the eye and create the outer loops.

Step 5: 

Using Airbase Satin Eyeshadow palette (shade 33), press into the black gel liner and blend inwards towards the eye.

Apply shade 25 from the Airbase Satin Eyeshadow palette on top and to the eyelid and blend.

Use shade 07 from the Airbase Satin Eyeshadow palette, close the bottom waterline and blend out.

Step 6: 

Line the eyes with black liner and apply a good quality mascara.

Step 7: 

Press shade 08 from the Airbase Satin Eyeshadow palette, into the White kohl liner to create the illusion of teeth and shade 40 from the Airbase Satin Eyeshadow palette to create the shadow.

Step 8: 

Trace over the previously drawn design in white kohl with black liquid liner.

Step 9: 

Go over the White face divide with black gel liner and smudge the cracks to create shadow and texture.

Step 10: 

Apply gems using eyelash glue - alternating the contrasting colours. Large gems surrounding the eye and smaller gems surrounding the liquid liner design.
